The sixth installment of the Placita Latina exhibition showcases Latinx and Hispanic artists, emphasizing the power of art to connect individuals across diverse backgrounds. Entitled “Placita Latina v.6: Puentes (Bridges),” the exhibition celebrates the ways in which Latin artists foster understanding, preserve cultural heritage, and facilitate dialogue. Through various creative mediums, including painting, photography, and sculpture, the exhibition highlights art as a conduit between past and future, tradition and innovation, and individual narratives and collective identities. In light of societal divisions, “Puentes” encourages reflections on connection, belonging, and cultural exchange. A closing reception is scheduled for Friday, October 23rd, from 6-9 PM.
