This special presentation, part of the “Revisiting Zion: The Story of 88 Brave Souls” series, pays tribute to the legacy of eighty-eight formerly enslaved individuals whose stories continue to resonate today. The performance features video segments from Beverly Austin’s stage play, Zion, highlighting themes of courage and resilience that are integral to the American narrative.
Two performances are scheduled for June 27 at the Marietta Performing Arts Center, located at 1171 Whitlock Ave, Marietta, GA 30064. The matinee show begins at 2:00 p.m., with tickets priced at $30 for adults and $10 for children aged 12 and under. An evening performance is set for 6:00 p.m., with adult tickets available for $35 and youth tickets remaining at $10.
