On July 21, the Earl and Rachel Smith Strand Theatre will host a Musical Theatre Boot Camp, perfect for rising 6th through 12th graders. Running from 12:30 PM to 4:30 PM, the camp offers an exciting week of musical theatre training aimed at enhancing confidence and performance skills. Participants will learn essential audition techniques, vocal and dance methods, and conclude with a showcase at 3:30 PM on July 24, where they will present what they’ve learned.
The camp features professional instructors who guide students in refining their abilities as well-rounded musical theatre artists. Before the camp begins, students are asked to prepare a one-minute musical theatre song to perform. Comfortable clothing and shoes are recommended due to the active nature of the sessions.
