Strand Academy is hosting a unique summer camp, “Swords & Soliloquies: A Shakespeare Tabletop Camp,” designed for students interested in theater and role-playing. Scheduled from July 13 to July 17, 2026, the camp runs daily from 9:30 AM to 4:30 PM at the Earl and Rachel Smith Strand Theatre in Marietta, GA.
This engaging camp invites rising 6th to 12th graders to dive into Shakespeare’s Macbeth, exploring its characters and themes through acting, improvisation, and collaborative storytelling. Activities will include character analysis, the development of original designs, and participation in a tabletop campaign that allows campers to make choices that influence the unfolding narrative. Each day will feature movement, voice work, and guided tabletop sessions, all enriched by elements inspired by both Shakespeare and fantasy storytelling.
