Program Overview:
Atlanta’s Traditional Okinawan Karate-do Dojo has been operational since 1987, focusing on traditional instruction in Shorin Ryu and Shudokan Karate-do. The program emphasizes authentic karate practices that include internal power development drills and self-defense techniques. The instruction aims to foster individual growth in a collaborative and respectful environment, catering to both beginners and experienced practitioners.

The dojo does not offer sport karate; it maintains the traditional principles and unarmed techniques that have been preserved for generations. Moeller Sensei, who has over 30 years of experience in various martial arts, including T’ai Chi Ch’uan and Aikido, incorporates elements from these disciplines into the training. He is also the author of “Karate-Do Foundations,” published in 1995.
