Program Overview:
Atlanta’s Traditional Okinawan Karate-do Dojo, established in 1987, offers instruction in Shorin Ryu and Shudokan Karate-do. The program focuses on traditional karate techniques for self-defense and internal power development. It fosters a cooperative environment that supports individual growth for both beginners and experienced practitioners. The dojo emphasizes authentic training methods rather than sport karate, drawing from historical techniques.
Moeller Sensei, with over 30 years of experience in various martial arts, including T’ai Chi Ch’uan, Hung Gar Kung Fu, and Aikido, incorporates diverse principles into the training regimen. He is also the author of “Karate-Do Foundations,” published in 1995.
