Summer Reading Kick-Off with Bucket Drumming is scheduled for June 1, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Milton Branch. This event features interactive bucket drumming with Grassroots Music, suitable for ages 6 and up. Participatory spaces are limited; tickets will be distributed starting at 12:30 PM on a first-come, first-served basis. Performances are set for 1:00-1:30 PM and 2:00-2:30 PM. The kick-off will begin earlier at 11:00 AM with activities hosted by the Public Works Department, who will explore mysteries of the local water system, aimed at ages 7 and older. King of Pops will also be present selling popsicles.
