The High Museum of Art in Atlanta hosts a monthly program titled Musing Together, designed for individuals with early-stage Alzheimer’s disease or other forms of dementia and their care partners. Each session features facilitated discussions centered on four to six artworks from the Museum’s collection or special exhibitions.
This month’s program will focus on works from Amy Sherald: American Sublime.
Participants will engage in a ninety-minute session where they can closely observe and share their thoughts, learn about the artwork, and connect in a supportive setting. Assistive listening devices and lightweight collapsible stools will be provided during each program.
Registration for this month’s conversation is $5 per person, with a ticket button available for sign-up. Registrants will receive a “Know Before You Go” email, which will include important information regarding directions to the High, parking options, and more.
For individuals interested in receiving registration emails, a sign-up form is available for the Musing Together email list at the Museum’s website.
For further inquiries, please contact culturecollective@high.org or call 404-733-5034.
