Sensory Friendly Afternoon at the Southern Museum is scheduled for February 24 from 2 PM to 5 PM. This event aims to provide a sensory-friendly environment for visitors with Autism Spectrum Disorder, sensory processing issues, or special needs to explore at their own pace.
Activities include two themed story times at 3 PM and 4 PM. For February, the focus will be on African American History Month, featuring the book Night Train, Night Train by Robert Burleigh, alongside a connection to the Pullman Car and Case exhibit. General admission pricing applies, and entry is free for members.
